EE4041: Human Resource Management

It's now the 3rd week of school and let me tell you, final year studies is totally different with what we get for the past 3 years.

Firstly, it could be due to the fact that we have a FYP (Final Year Project) going on and thus for almost every single free time we have, we will be attempting to spend some time to deal with our FYP.

Secondly, which is more towards EEE students is the compulsory enrollment for the course Human Resource Management. It doesn't look as hard as it sound, but because of the demands of the coordinator, a 3AU subject will seem like a 10AU subject!

Even for a normal presentation, each member of the group is expected to be able to present any part of the presentation. Which means, the tutor will determine who will be presenting which portion of that group's presentation.

This coming Thursday will be my first presentation for HRM. The amount of work that my group did. Within a week, my group went out to Jurong Point, established cold contacts and ask various shop managers in JP to interview them about their business; study their competitors; and analyze the implication towards HRM. Not to mention meetings, creating slides, presenting them, ....

On the positive side, it does help us students to be able to cope and manage all these stress; stress that may be even worse when we start working. The different dead lines, assignments, tutorials, presentations and final year project.

In fact, I don't really have time to blog anymore. I'm now blogging while in my Web Application Design Class. Currently teaching on the basics of Java.

For the rest of the day, I have another 3 more hours of lecture and 2 more hours of tutorial. *sigh*
